    Position Overview

    We are looking for a Lead IT Systems Engineer. The Lead IT Systems Engineer will be responsible for Architecture, Engineering, and Operations Management of all Distributed Systems Infrastructure, including, but not limited to, Virtual Server, Hosts, SAN, Database, Distributed OS, Domain Services, App Server, and all applicable Hardware and Data Center Management. This includes planning, designing, and developing services to support all parts of the organization. In addition, the Lead IT Systems Engineer will participate in the installation, monitoring, maintenance, support, and optimization of all relevant hardware, software, and licensing.


    • Passion to continuously improve how IT supports the business, being driven by the business outcomes of the efforts
    • Must be self-starting and comfortable with driving solo at times while maintaining a collaborative attitude
    • Strong Service Management mindset
    • A sense of urgency to drive immediate resolution of problems when they occur
    • Ability to prioritize and track work
    • A strong background, working knowledge, and skills in distributed systems technology
    • Proven experience with capacity planning, security principles, and general management best practices
    • Good communication skills and habits
    • Desire to inform and teach the business users about how to use technology
    • Natural curiosity about new technologies

    • Virtual Systems Management (VMWare)
    • Distributed OS Management (Microsoft Windows)
    • Domain Management (Microsoft DDI, Domain Controllers, ADFS)
    • Storage Management (SAN, Backups)
    • Database Management (Server, Light DBA Work)
    • Application Server Management (Business Apps)
    • SaaS Management (Business Apps)
    • Data Center Hardware Management (Co-Location)
