Position Overview

  • Member of the Office 365 migration team
  • Assist in assessing customer email environment and provide migration estimates
  • Assist in migrating customer from current email system to Office 365
  • Provides engineering technical support and escalations for new and existing customers

Responsibilities

  • Performing Microsoft Exchange and Office 365 Migrations in conjunction with Office 365 Team Lead
  • Utilize BitTitan migration tool to assist in the migration process when specified
  • Assist with customer IT customer communication and collaboration migrations in accordance with agreed upon Scope of Work
  • Provide escalation support for new and existing customers
  • Assist in preparation for customer facing presentation of technical solutions; may include some customer facing presentations

Qualifications

Pre-Sales

  • Assist the Office 365 Team Lead in estimating work efforts for the Office 365 Team migration.
  • Estimation for required time for project completion.
  • Review Solution design / Scope of Work
  • Use technical expertise to assist in the preparation of pre-sales materials required to assist in the sales process.

Technical Research

  • Stay current on Office 365 technologies.
  • Learn and be able to use the BitTitan Migration toolset.
  • Maintain the technical certifications as required.
  • Act as an internal resource due to your awareness of Office 365 solutions.

Key Outcomes of the Position

 

  • MCPc customers will be provided with technical solutions that meet and exceed their business needs. 
  • MCPc customers and internal associates will know they can depend on the the engineer to provide technical expertise in their given area.
  • MCPc’s technical expertise will remain up to date.

Skills and Attributes Required:

 

  • Technical expert with:
  • Office 365 administration
  • Microsoft Server O/s
  • Active Directory, DNS, DHCP
  • Azure A/D as it applies to Office 365 migrations

Experience and Educational Requirement necessary to the job:

 

  • Microsoft Office 365 Administration experience
  • Microsoft Office product installation / configuration experience (locally based)
  • Active Directory administration experience
  • Microsoft Server O/s
  • Familiarity with Active Directory, DNS, DHCP

Physical Requirements:

 

This position involves sitting, walking around and using a computer for a long period of time. The position involves fine muscle control (typing and using tools), the ability to see a computer monitor, hear and converse are necessary.
