Position Overview

We are seeking a full-time Sales Data Analyst/Administrator to aide in the sales reporting and analysis and Tier 1 support and partner for the Executive VP of Sales Operations at MCPc. The Data Analyst will work with the sales team and appropriate tools, existing and potentially new tools, to develop sales analyses, reports, and sales presentations. They will create and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual reports. They will also maintain that sales information is recorded accurately, including training the sales teams on proper usage of the systems. Additionally, they will work with historical data to help drive future results and identify areas of improvement. The Sales Data Analyst will also identify trends in the current sales team productivity and presents findings to senior leadership. Lastly, they will partner with Sales and IT to support the sales teams.

Responsibilities

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Develop and support existing sales forecasting models to evaluate existing and future business
  • Create monthly, quarterly and annual reports and Ad-hoc reporting
  • Maintain updated and accurate database by entering, verifying and backing up data (work with IT team)
  • Aide cost analysis processes by established policies and procedures (teaching the teams the proper procedures); providing trends and forecasts
  • Monitor and analyze the competitive environment and making comparative analyses; recommended changes in methods and materials (work with marketing)
  • Protect MCPc operations by maintaining confidentiality of sales information

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • Knowledge of sales, sales methods, tools and strategies
  • Ability to read, interpret and draw accurate conclusions from numerical data
  • Knowledge of and ability to use and develop unique processes, tools and techniques for exploring alternative sales scenarios and results
  • Knowledge of the functions, automated tools and processes needed to oversee sales assets and liabilities across the organization.  Teaching and training the sales force as needed on correct usage.
  • Ability to prepare sales reports and presentations by utilizing sales processes and tools

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, IT or other related field.
  • 3 or more years of experience preferred working with sales team or organizations.
  • Excellent computer skills specific to Excel (Expert), Access, Word and Power Point
  • Good communications skills written and verbal
  • Experience with DOMO/Tableau or any sales reporting software is a plus
