Position Overview

The Global Program Manager assumes responsibility for developing, implementing, evaluating and promoting MCPc Solutions to our customers.  This includes supporting all MCPc sales reps in service sales opportunities in order to engage and educate customers on our solutions. In addition, your role will be that of subject matter expert on all of our Technology solutions.

Qualifications

The Global Program Manager assumes responsibility for developing, implementing, evaluating and promoting MCPc Solutions to our customers.  This includes supporting all MCPc sales reps in service sales opportunities in order to engage and educate customers on our solutions. In addition, your role will be that of subject matter expert on all of our IT solutions.


Responsibilities:

  • Full understanding of subcontractor relationships, management of relationship and resources, and continuous review of services provided via said subcontractors.
  • Full responsibilities for on-site dedicated employees including a technical point of escalation to assist in guidance of issues. Expectations are to define and guide employees and supervisors with appropriate actions plans for soft and technical skills.
  • Develop and maintain documentation and communications related to ‘best practices’ for customer/partner audience.
  • Understand customer requirements and work closely with sales reps and EUC operations to deliver quality solutions in a timely and professional manner.
  • Champion MCPc’s service solutions by engaging with MCPc Account Managers on sales calls both over the phone and in person.
  • Understand contracts and customer interactions for accurate contract completions, processing through our vendors, renewals and contract end dates.
  • Work with vendor partners and customers at the beginning of the sales cycle, during renewals, etc.
  • Participate in internal training events and sales meetings to promote Program offerings.
  • Provide frequent and consistent verbal and written communications to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Support Account Managers with questions related to MCPc offerings.
  • Create cost analysis and develop sales material to support Account Managers.
  • Develop solutions for customers that support their requirements and meet their business needs.
  • Create/complete documents outlining our service solutions as needed to fulfill customer requirements.
  • Seek and negotiate with new vendors as necessary to fill gaps in our service coverage.

Key Outcomes of the Position

 

The Global Program Manager will help drive additional sales activity and revenue by enabling Account Mangers to devote their time to sales verses administrative pursuits.  

Customers are satisfied with MCPc solutions.

High quality solutions are delivered on time and professionally to our customers.

Customer relationships are enhanced and internal and external stakeholders are engaged and communicated with on status, issues, scope, etc., before, during and after engagements.

Process changes are designed and implemented to address operational issues.

MCPc account managers feel supported and end up with profitable solutions.


Qualifications:

Skills and Attributes Required:

 

Effective verbal and written communications abilities.

Able to collaborate with all levels of sales reps from entry level to VP.

Significant tact, diplomacy and negotiation skills.

Able to think strategically and deal with ambiguity.

Able to prioritize business opportunities and balance workload.

Able to manage multiple tasks, often with competing deadlines.

Able to make effective presentations to individuals and groups.

Able to prepare clear, concise and informative reports, correspondence and other written materials.

Business ethics.

 

Experience and Educational Requirement

 

High school graduate; 4 year college degree preferred.

10 years of experience selling IT solutions into SMB and enterprise level accounts.

3+ years of program management experience or 5 years experience managing high visibility, cross-organizational projects.

Proven business skills including PC knowledge, keyboarding, good speaking voice, proper phone etiquette, organizational skills and self motivation.

 

Physical Requirements 

 

Must possess mobility to work in a standard office setting and use standard office equipment including a computer, and to attend meetings at various sites within and away from Cleveland, vision to read printed materials and a computer screen, and hearing and speech to communication in person and over the telephone.
