Position Overview

The Network Administrator position calls for a highly self-motivated individual responsible for day-to-day operation of internal servers and infrastructure.  This individual will be responsible for deploying and maintaining corporate servers and applications as well as maintaining network connectivity.  This individual should be a fast problem solver and should feel comfortable with adapting to new complex technologies.  This individual will be required to develop and maintain concise documentation on IT operating environment.


  • Install, upgrade, configure, maintain, and support Cisco networks, servers, workstations, and communications equipment.
  • Implement new domain users, user environments, software, printing access and security for applications being delivered (using Active Directory, etc).
  • Perform network troubleshooting to isolate and diagnose network problems (LAN/WAN)
  • Maintain and monitor all network and server equipment and maintain uptime
  • Perform day to day administration duties on network, servers, PC’s and applications.
  • Perform day to day administration on the phone system  including setting up new extensions, connecting VoIP phones and administering our call center/group settings.
  • Perform system software upgrades on servers and network equipment when needed.



  • At least 3 years of experience in LAN/WAN configurations and troubleshooting.
  • Heavy Cisco Router/Switch/ Firewall and Cisco Wirelss Access Point experience needed
  • Experience with Active Directory domains, Windows 2003-2012 R2 Server.
  • Experience with Remote Desktop Services.
  • MCSA, CCNA, or greater certification is a plus
  • Strong VOIP and DNS experience a plus
  • Excellent oral and written communications skills in English.
  • Programming experience a plus, but not required.
  • Excellent interpersonal and follow-up skills.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills, ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Excellent team work skills.
  • Ability to work with or without direct supervision.
  • Able to think and adapt quickly; flexible disposition. Excellent analytical skills and reasoning.
  • Must be able to lift 50 pounds, move furniture, crawl under furniture, climb ladders, and be physically agile.
